Welcome to Tyandaga

Tyandaga is Burlington's most northwesterly neighbourhood, characterised by winding streets, large lots and mature trees. The land slopes southward from the Niagara Escarpment toward the lake, so there are many beautiful views from various points in the neighbourhood. This area was developed from the mid 1970's through to the early 1990's. The community is mainly made up of large detached homes on large lots with diverse architectural styles. There are several small pockets of upscale condo townhomes.

The municipal public Tyandaga Golf Course is located at the centre of the community dividing it into Tyandaga Highlands (north) and Tyandaga Lowlands. City View Park, Burlington's newest large park occupies 165 acres at the north edge of Tyandaga, with the master plan providing both active and passive park amenities including large naturalized areas, a series of trails, two artificial turf soccer fields, a state-of-the-art playground, a naturalized pond area with boardwalk, five multi-use sports fields, two baseball diamonds and a pavilion.
