Welcome to Roseland
Roseland is one of Burlington`s most prestigious and picturesque neighbourhoods. The portion between Guelph Line and Pomona Avenue was the original Roseland, laid out in the 1920`s but not fully developed until the late 1940`s and early 1950`s. The community's unique feel results from the broad boulevards, generous front and side yard setbacks of the homes, and beautiful mature trees. The homes are an eclectic mix of architectural styles of the various decades of the area`s development plus there is modern luxury redevelopment as well.
The area between Pomona and Walkers Line is often called Strathcona, and the development in this portion contain a broad variety of more modern 1960`s and 1970`s homes, again with emphasis on the landscaping and larger lots. Several small condo townhome developments are located on New Street, otherwise the area is entirely upscale detached homes.
North - South: New Street to Lake Ontario. East - West: Walkers Line to Guelph Line.
