Welcome to Palmer

Palmer is one of the more moderately priced older neighbourhoods in Burlington.  The community was mainly developed in the 1970's and 1980's with a mix of detached, link, and semi-detached homes, again dominated by the bungalow, raised bungalow, storey and a half, and side and back split styles being built, on winding streets and comparatively large lots. There are pockets of condo townhouses on Upper Middle Road, Newlands Crescent, Centennial Drive and Guelph Line. The neighbourhood is mature, with large parks and adjacent school sites. This is a great area for purchasing an affordably priced detached home.

Close by is the Mainway Sports and Games Centre, an adult indoor sports complex and bar. Tennis enthusiasts will find public courts at Sycamore Park and Palmer Park.  Shoppers from Palmer will be drawn southward to both Burlington Mall at Guelph Line and Fairview and to the abundances of stores and services on Fairview Street.
