Welcome to Morrison

The Morrison area was laid out during the 1950's through the 1970's mainly in subdivisions of extremely large lots from 0.25 to 1 acre or more, with ranch bungalows and a variety of custom homes of the time. The neighbourhood has been undergoing extensively development for some time and is the premier location in town for constructing luxury custom homes. Most of the streets have a casual, almost country lane feel with broad setbacks.

The convenience of the area for the Toronto-bound commute and also to downtown Oakville have contributed to Morrison's appeal as Oakville's most expensive neighbourhood. The private St. Mildred's-Lightbourn School and private  Chisholm Academy are well-known educational resource in the community, with all pubic and catholic schools serving Morrison being well regarded. Access to the lakefront is is available at Gairloch Gardens, an 11 acre lakeside park containing the Oakville Galleries art museum. The gardens boast an extensive rose collection and 15,000 annuals that bloom between June and September. Gairloch Gardens is a popular venue for wedding and special occasion photography.
